EGYFERT’s consolidated profit soars 1,093% YoY in H1

Arab FinanceSamad Misr (EGYFERT) (SMFR) recorded a consolidated net profit after minority interest of EGP 1.29 million in the first half (H1) of 2022, jumping by 1,093.03% from EGP 108,329 in H1 2022, according to the consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 10th.

The company generated consolidated net sales of EGP 58.82 million in the first six months of 2022, rising from EGP 20.89 million in the same period last year.

Moreover, the company’s consolidated net profit after minority interest grew to EGP 1.41 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2022 from EGP 205,577 in Q2 2021.

At the level of the standalone financial statement, EGYFERT turned to profitability with a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 1.47 million in H1 2022, versus a loss of EGP 507,107 in H1 2021.

The company achieved a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 1.48 million in Q2 2022, versus a loss of EGP 121,110 in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
