M.B Engineering logs 62.3% YoY lower consolidated profit in H1

Arab FinanceM.B Engineering (MBEN) posted a 62.28% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company during the first half (H1) of 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest amounted to EGP 714,691 in H1 2022, down from EGP 1.895 million in H1 2021.

On the other hand, sales inched up to EGP 102.965 million in the six-month period ended June 30th from EGP 99.838 million in the same period a year earlier.

Established in 1990 and listed in 2014, M.B Engineering is a public company, which operates within the capital goods sector and focuses on construction and engineering.
