Arab Finance: General Company for Paper Industry (Rakta) (RAKT) has narrowed down its net loss after tax for fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022 by 12% year-on-year (YoY), according to the audited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on September 7th.
The company has incurred a net loss after tax of EGP 90.79 million in the 12-month period ended June 30th, compared to a net loss of EGP 102.77 million in the FY ago.
Revenues dropped to EGP 399,000 in FY 2021/2022 from EGP 10.172 million in FY 2020/2021.
Rakta is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the production and distribution of printing and wrings papers, and multi-layered duplexes carton papers.
