Arab Finance: General Company for Paper Industry (Rakta) (RAKT) has cut its net loss after tax for the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023 by 37.6% year-on-year (YoY), according to the unaudited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on October 27th.
The company has incurred a net loss after tax of EGP 22.64 million in the three-month period ended September 30th, compared to a net loss of EGP 36.267 million in the same period a FY ago.
Rakta is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the production and distribution of printing and wrings papers, and multi-layered duplexes carton papers.
