Arab Drug logs 7.8% higher profits in 3 months

Arab FinanceArab Drug Company (ADCI) posted a 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax during the first quarter of the fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, according to financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

The company’s net profit after tax grew to EGP 27.695 million in the three-month that ended on September 30th from EGP 25.694 million during the same period a year earlier.

Revenue jumped to EGP 153.941 million in July-September from EGP 144.073 million the year before.

Arab Drug is an Egypt-based company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector. The company focuses on the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of pharmaceutical products as well as chemical solutions for human and veterinary use.
