Arab Finance: Upper Egypt Mills Company (UEFM) reported a 25.15% year-on-year (YoY) increase in standalone net profit after tax during the first quarter (Q1) of the fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, according to financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
The company’s standalone net profit after tax rose to EGP 31.381 million during the three months that ended on September 30th from EGP 25.075 million in the same period a year earlier.
Operating current revenue jumped to EGP 244.031 million in July-September from EGP 194.29 million the year before.
Upper Egypt Mills is an Egypt-based company that operates in the manufacturing, processing, import, export, warehousing, and distribution of different types of grains and grain derivatives.
