Samad Misr’s consolidated profit jumps over 870% YoY in 9 months

Arab FinanceSamad Misr (EGYFERT) (SMFR) logged an 870.36% hike year-on-year (YoY) in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest surged to EGP 12.964 million in the nine months to September 30th from EGP 1.336 million a year earlier.

Consolidated net sales jumped to EGP 134.85 million in January-September from EGP 46.205 million the year before.

Furthermore, standalone net profit after tax surged to EGP 13.157 million from January to the end of September from EGP 637,825 in the same period last year.
