Arab Finance: The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has signed two agreements, with Schneider Electric and Huawei Technologies, to boost digital transformation, as per a statement.

Under the first agreement, Schneider will offer its latest software and technologies for the establishment a strategic command center for the petroleum sector at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

Signed with Huawei Technologies, the second agreement covers providing the firm’s solutions for building digital data centers at the petroleum premises.

This came on the sidelines of the last day of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024).
