Mashreq appoints Norman Tambach as Chief Financial Officer

Arab Finance: Mashreq, a leading financial institution in the MENA region, has appointed Norman Tambach as Group Chief Financial Officer, the bank stated in an emailed press release.

Tambach will be in charge of supporting the bank’s future vision in terms of developing and carrying out financial strategies that back its strategic objectives.

Furthermore, he will play a main role in overseeing the bank’s balance sheet, financial reporting structure, and its interaction with multiple regulatory and tax jurisdictions.

He will also take a major part in the continued digitization of the bank’s financial operations, the efficacy of its reporting functions, and the professional development of a highly experienced finance team.

It is worth mentioning that Tambach has diverse background across numerous senior financial leadership roles, including his time at the publicly listed global bank ING, in addition to previously holding major positions at KPMG in Belgium and the Netherlands.
