Egypt inks LoI to join Blue Mediterranean Partnership

Arab Finance: Egypt has signed a letter of intent (LoI) on joining the Blue Mediterranean Partnership launched in 2022 at COP27 in Egypt, as per a statement on December 3^rd.

The partnership aims to boost the sustainable blue economy in the Mediterranean region.

It also aims to foster biodiversity and the climate resilience of Mediterranean coastal areas.

The signing came on the sidelines of the COP28 climate summit in Dubai.
