Egypt to end tax disputes for firms with less than EGP 10M in turnover next June

Arab Finance: Egypt will settle all tax disputes for companies whose turnover does not exceed EGP 10 million by next June, Acting Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Rasha Abdel Aal said.

For his part, Deputy Minister of Finance for Tax Policy and Reforms Ramy Youssef confirmed that automated systems greatly help in unifying tax transactions, as they are a fundamental pillar of tax justice and competitiveness.

In 2023, Egypt thwarted customs evasion attempts amounting to EGP 8.5 billion.
