Egypt, UAE look into boosting ICT cooperation

Arab Finance: Egypt’s Communications and Information Technology Minister Amr Talaat and the UAE Minister of State for Government Development and Future Ohood Bint Khalfan Al Roumi discussed ways to enhance digital transformation cooperation between the two countries, the Egyptian ministry stated on February 14th.

The meeting touched on the UAE's strategy for government services, which focuses on enhancing communication and direct interaction between government agencies and citizens.

Meanwhile, Talaat met with Ahmed Galal Ismail, CEO of the UAE’s Majid Al Futtaim Group, to mull over the latter’s investments plans in the Egyptian market.

Moreover, Talaat held a meeting with Mudassir Sheikha, CEO and co-founder of the ride-hailing app Careem, to discuss the company’s business in Egypt and its future plans.
