Arab Finance: The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) has revealed violations by eight producing and supplying companies, along with retailers of home appliances and electronics, as per a statement.
In response, the ECA obligated these companies to stop these violations, amend contracts concluded with merchants, and remove any clauses that stipulate, directly or indirectly, setting a minimum or fixed price.
It is worth mentioning that the ECA recently decided to initiate a criminal case against seven major poultry brokers for violating the provisions of Article (A/6) of the Competition Protection Law No.3 of 2003.
