Arab Finance: Egypt’s annual headline inflation reached 10.0% in November 2025, versus 10.1% during October, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics’ (CAPMAS) data showed.
The inflation rate was attributed to a 0.05% year-on-year (YoY) decline in food and beverage (F&B) prices.
On the other hand, alcoholic drinks and tobacco prices saw an 18% YoY surge in November.
Likewise, the housing, water, electricity, natural gas, and fuel segment registered an annual increase of 21.7%.
The healthcare sector registered a 27.8% YoY hike, while the transportation segment jumped by 21.5% YoY.
Meanwhile, the consumer price index (CPI) hit 263.8 points, recording a 0.2% monthly drop from October.
