Arab Finance: Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali El-Moselhy has laid the foundation stone of the second strategic warehouse for food products in Luxor with investments of EGP 1.5 billion, as per a statement on August 27^th.

Spanning an area of 10 feddans, the warehouse will serve Luxor and four neighboring governorates by securing strategic reserves of over 30 basic commodities.

The warehouse is set to be established within 18 to 24 months, Head of the Internal Trade Development Authority Ibrahim Ashmawy said.

Earlier in June, Moselhy laid the foundation stone of the first EGP 1.5 billion strategic warehouse for food products on an area of 10 feddans in Suez governorate.

This comes within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to secure strategic stocks of basic commodities and food products throughout the year.
