Egypt’s unemployment rate hit 7.1% during Q3

Arab Finance: The unemployment rate in Egypt rose to 7.1% during the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, inching up by 0.1% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), Asharq Business reported citing data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

The data also showed that the labor force in Egypt increased by 3.2% in Q3 of this year to 31.9 million workers, compared to 30.97 million in Q2.
