The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE), Orascom Construction, Norway’s SCATEC, and Abu Dhabi-based Fertiglobe have signed an agreement for a green hydrogen production project with a capacity of 100 megawatts at Sokhna Port.

Fertiglobe, the world’s largest seaborne exporter of urea and ammonia, has successfully exported the first shipment of certified renewable ammonia that was produced at the company’s factory in Egypt, as per a cabinet statement.
