Arab Finance: Arabian Cement Company (ACC) has launched a new environmental initiative by replacing its electrostatic precipitators (Main ESPs) with the innovative bag filters to control dust emissions at its production lines, the company stated on January 15^th.

ACC has obtained the approvals required for the execution of the conversion project over two phases.

The first phase will include the conversion of ESP of Line 1, while the second one will cover Line 2.

This is part of the company’s plans to ensure proactive compliance with the current and future dust emission control standards locally and internationally.

Arabian Cement is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of cement and concrete. Its products include clinker and ready-mix concrete, in addition to Al Mosalah, Al Tahrir, and El Sadd cement.
