Arab Finance: Credit Agricole’s consolidated net profits after tax rose 50.25% year-on-year (YoY) during 2022, according to an EGX disclosure on February 12th.

The lender achieved net profits after tax amounting to EGP 2.417 billion last year, up from EGP 1.609 billion in 2021.

Interest income increased 21.60% YoY hitting EGP 6.330 billion in 2022, compared to EGP 5.205 billion a year earlier.

Credit Agricole’s standalone net profit after tax was up 51.91% YoY in 2022 reaching EGP 2.419 billion, up from EGP 1.592 billion in 2021.
