Orascom Development logs EGP 4.2B consolidated revenues in Q1

Arab Finance: Orascom Development Egypt's consolidated revenues soared to EGP 4.175 billion during the first quarter (Q1) of this year from EGP 2.952 billion in Q1 2023, as per the firm’s financial statements.

On the other hand, the company incurred consolidated net losses after minority interest worth EGP 1.181 billion during Q1 2024, against profits worth EGP 291.488 million during the first three months of 2023.

The firm has incurred EGP 1.550 billion in standalone net losses after tax during the January-March period of this year, versus profits totaling 41.244 million in the same period last year.

ODE, the largest subsidiary of Orascom Development Holding (ODH), is a developer of resort towns, residential units, hotels, and recreational facilities such as golf courses, town centers, and marinas, in addition to supporting infrastructures, such as hospitals, schools, and utilities.
