Arab Finance: Crédit Agricole Egypt’s consolidated net profits after tax and minority interest rose 50.2% year on year (YoY) in 2022 to EGP 2.42 billion, compared to EGP 1.61 billion in 2021, the bank’s financial income statements filed to the EGX on February 27^th showed.

Interest income reached EGP 3.83 billion last year, up 29.7% from EGP 2.95 billion a year earlier.

In terms of standalone businesses, net profits after tax saw a 51.9% annual surge in 2022, reaching EGP 2.42 billion from EGP 1.59 billion in 2021.

Standalone interest income amounted to EGP 3.8 billion, up 30.2% from EGP 2.92 billion.
