Crédit Agricole’s consolidated profits up 50% YoY in 2022

Arab Finance: Crédit Agricole Egypt’s consolidated net profits after tax and minority interest rose 50.2% year on year (YoY) in 2022 to EGP 2.42 billion, compared to EGP 1.61 billion in 2021, the bank’s financial income statements filed to the EGX on February 27th showed.

Interest income reached EGP 3.83 billion last year, up 29.7% from EGP 2.95 billion a year earlier.

In terms of standalone businesses, net profits after tax saw a 51.9% annual surge in 2022, reaching EGP 2.42 billion from EGP 1.59 billion in 2021.

Standalone interest income amounted to EGP 3.8 billion, up 30.2% from EGP 2.92 billion.
