Egypt to host IATF2023 in November

Arab Finance: Egypt is currently coordinating with African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) to host the third edition of Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023) in November, Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir said in a meeting with the bank’s delegation on April 3rd.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the preparation of hosting the IATF2023 in Cairo.
Samir expressed his country’s keenness to provide all possible support for this event in a way that meets Egypt's position in Africa.
The exhibition aims at enhancing intra-trade between various African countries.
It is worth noting that the second edition of the IATF was held in Durban, South Africa, in the presence of 13,000 businessmen and witnessed contracts worth about $35 billion.
In 2018, Egypt hosted the first edition of the event.
