Arab Finance: General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt) turned to a profit in the nine-month period ended March 31st, according to the company’s unaudited financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 8th.
The company achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 44.943 million in the first nine months of fiscal year (FY) 2022/23, versus a net loss of EGP 54.328 million in the same period of FY 2021/22.
Meanwhile, the company’s revenues rose to EGP 185.201 million in the nine-month period of FY 2022/23 from EGP 154.303 million in the corresponding period of the previous FY.
Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
