Medical Packaging turns to losses in Q1

Arab Finance: Medical Packaging Company (MEPA) has incurred net losses after tax of EGP 2.021 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2023, versus net profits of EGP 3.586 million, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 30th.

Sales plunged to EGP 4.264 million during the first three months of this year from EGP 14.881 million during the January-March period of 2022.

Medical Packaging is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacturing of medical and pharmaceutical packaging products.

The company focuses on the operations and establishment of a factory for the production of glass containers for the purpose of medical, pharmacy, laboratories, cosmetics, and perfumes.
