Arab Finance: Egypt has released a total of 156,000 tons of corn and soybean fodder worth $78 million from the country’s ports over the period from May 26th to June 1st, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed El-Quseir stated on June 5th.
The released amount included 104,000 tons of corn worth $37 million, 52,000 tons of soybeans worth $39 million, and feed additives worth $1.5 million.
This brings the total amount of fodder released from October 16th, 2022 to June 1st, 2023 to 5.4 million tons, including 4 million tons of corn, and 1.4 million tons of soybeans and feed additives at a total value of $2.6 billion.
