Arab Finance: El Shams Pyramids for Hotels and Touristic Projects returned to profitability in the first half (H1) of 2026, recording a net profit of $228,857, according to financial statements submitted to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company had reported a net loss of approximately $9.839 million during the same period in 2025.
Its gross operating loss narrowed to approximately $3,614 by the end of June 2026, from $10.452 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
Founded in 1976, El Shams Pyramids for Hotels & Touristic Projects is an Egyptian public joint-stock company. The company owns, operates, and manages Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel in Cairo, which consists of 655 rooms, swimming pools, cafes, and restaurant and recreation facilities.
