Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has canceled all the transactions carried out on TAQA Arabia’s shares during the firm’s first trading session, as per an EGX disclosure on July 9th.
The company’s stock saw 75 transactions valued at EGP 395,000 that were executed by some individual investors after its debut by mistake.
TAQA Arabia’s debut saw only one block trading transaction worth over EGP 3.6 billion implemented on its shares.
The cancellation decision came after EFG Hermes Securities Brokerage and a number of brokerage firms submitted a request to the EGX to cancel the transactions executed on TAQA Arabia’s shares on Sunday
