Middle East Glass Manufacturing’s consolidated profit rises 40.5% YoY in H1

 Arab Finance: Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co (MEGM) reported a consolidated net profit after tax of EGP 198.07 million in the first half (H1) of 2023, rising by 40.55% from EGP 140.93 million in H1 2022, according to the consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 13th.

Moreover, the company suffered a standalone net loss after tax of EGP 37.08 million in H1 2023, compared to a profit of EGP 48.64 million in the same period last year, according to the standalone financial statement

MEGM is an Egypt-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture, sale, and export of glass containers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The company’s product solutions include food jars, bottles, juice, carbonated bottles, and pharma, among others
