GEMMA’s net profits jump 41% YoY in H1

Arab Finance: Al Ezz for Ceramics and Porcelain (GEMMA) has reported a 41.13% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profits after tax during the first half (H1) of 2023, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 16th.

The company has recorded EGP 117.406 million in net profit after tax in H1 2023, compared to EGP 83.191 million in the same period last year.

Sales rose to EGP 1.205 billion in H1 2023 from EGP 884.900 million in H1 2022.

Established in 1989, GEMMA operates in the construction supplies industry. It distributes its products to local commercial and residential clients, as well as exports to the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
