Rakta’ losses narrow by 43% YoY in H1

Arab Finance: General Company for Paper Industry (RAKTA) saw a 43% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its net loss after tax in the first half (H1) of 2023, according to the company’s financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on September 4^th.

The company suffered a net loss after tax of EGP 51.765 million in H1 2023, versus a loss of EGP 90.790 million in H1 2022.

Rakta is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the production and distribution of printing and wrings papers, and multi-layered duplexes carton papers
