Golden Pyramids logs 70.3% YoY consolidated profit plunge in H1

Arab Finance: Golden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL) posted a 70.28% year-on-year (YoY) slump in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first half (H1) of 2023, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on October 22nd.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interests surged to $8.298 million in H1 2023 from $27.923 million in H1 2022.

Operating revenue dropped to $54.183 million in January-June from $65.276 million in the year-ago period.

Established in 1991 and listed on EGX in 1997, Golden Pyramids Plaza operates within the consumer services sector focusing on hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.
