Egypt Gas’ profits hike 82% YoY in 2022

Arab Finance: Egypt Gas’ (EGAS) net profit after tax surged 82% year-on-year (YoY) in 2022, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on February 6^th.

The company’s net profit after tax soared to EGP 301.980 million last year from EGP 165.829 million in 2021.

Revenue jumped 30% to EGP 7.025 billion in 2022 from EGP 5.404 billion a year earlier.

Egypt Gas is an Egypt-based shareholding company engaged in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of natural gas distribution networks and pressure reduction stations for domestic, commercial, and industrial applications.
