Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has launched a tender to purchase 50,000 tons of raw cane sugar and/or 50,000 tons of refined white sugar from any origin, Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade announced on November 20^th.

The tender was unveiled on behalf of the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries Company.

GASC said that it would only consider offers submitted for arrival from January 1st to 15th, January 16th to 30th, and/or February 1st to 15th.

Payments shall be at sight via using funding from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC).

Additionally, offers must be made on a cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) free out basis in EGP or USD.

The deadline for submitting offers is November 25^th, GASC added.
