United Arab Stevedoring’s losses surge 99% YoY in Q1 FY2023/24

Arab Finance: United Arab Stevedoring Company’s (UASG) net losses after tax saw a 99.6% year-on-year (YoY) increase to EGP 9.77 million in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, compared to EGP 4.895 million, according to the company’s financial statement on November 23rd.

Meanwhile, revenues hit EGP 1.468 million in the July-September period, down from EGP 3.918 million over the same period of last FY.

United Arab Stevedoring, formerly United Arab Shipping Company, is an Egypt-based company engaged in the marine port services industry sector.

The company primarily is involved in loading and unloading activities at the Alexandria and Dekheilla ports in Egypt. It owns a fleet of trucks, trailers, single-semi trailers, and semi-trailers.
