Arab Finance: National Printing Company posted an 11.32% year-on-year (YoY) plunge in consolidated profit attributable to shareholders during the first half (H1) of 2026, the financial results indicated.
Consolidated profits amounted to EGP 179.693 million, compared to EGP 200.045 million in the January-June 2025 period.
Earnings per share (EPS) declined to EGP 0.83 in H1 2026 from EGP 0.94 in the year-ago period.
Likewise, net sales fell to EGP 3.358 billion in the six-month period from EGP 3.548 billion.
On the standalone financial results front, the company shifted to net losses, incurring EGP 3.320 million at the end of June 2026, compared to net profits of EGP 37.910 million a year earlier.
Non-consolidated loss per share hit EGP 0.02 in H1 2026, against a profit per share of EGP 0.18 in H1 2025.
At the end of March 2026, National Printing posted 43% YoY lower consolidated net profits after tax at EGP 71.224 million, compared to EGP 124.918 million.
