Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables in the Egyptian market varied on Sunday, October 11, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
A kilogram of packaged rice stood at EGP 33.3, down 1.1% daily.
Packaged flour dropped by 3% to EGP 26.6 per kilogram.
Sugar was priced at EGP 32.2 per kilogram, reflecting a daily fall of 5.4%. Likewise, pasta declined by 1% to EGP 32.7 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of sunflower oil went up by 0.1% to EGP 104 per kilogram.
Regarding vegetables, the price of a kilogram of tomatoes stood at EGP 20.2, marking a decline of 8.8%. The price of a kilogram of onion increased by 2.9% to EGP 18.6.
