Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at an aggregated value of EGP 35 billion on March 9th, according to the CBE’s data.
The offering includes two fixed-yield bonds issued over two auctions.
The first auction valued at EGP 10 billion, holding a two-year maturity period at a coupon rate of 21.762%.
Meanwhile, the second auction covers a three-year term T-bonds worth EGP 25 billion, carrying a coupon rate of 20.7%.
