CBE auctions EGP 140B T-bills on August 30

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 140 billion over two auctions on Sunday, August 30, 2026, according to the CBE’s data.

The first tranche, valued at EGP 65 billion, holds a 182-day tenor until March 2, 2027.

Valued at EGP 75 billion, the second auction will mature in 364 days on August 31, 2027.
