CBE to halt operations on January 29th

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to suspend operations on Thursday, January 29th, in celebration of the January 25th Revolution and National Police Day.

The operating banks in Egypt will resume business on Sunday, February 1st.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced January 29th as a paid holiday for both the public and private sectors.
