Delta Insurance’s EGM nods for EGP 50M capital increase

Arab Finance: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Delta Insurance approved the board’s proposal to increase the issued capital to EGP 550 million from EGP 500 million, according to a bourse statement.

The insurance firm will raise its capital by EGP 50 million through the issuance of bonus shares, distributed over 12.5 million shares, at a nominal value of EGP 4 per share.

The capital increase will be financed from the company’s net profits by 10% per share as per its financial position for the period ended December 31st, 2024.

In October 2025, Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding (EKH) decided to sell the entire 63.39% stake in Delta Insurance.
