Elsewedy Academy, Korra Foundation launch German-accredited technical academy in Sadat City

Arab Finance: Korra Energi, through its Al Korra Foundation, partnered with Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) to launch "Elsewedy & KORRA German Technical Academy" in Sadat City, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, according to a press release.

The partnership reflects both parties' commitment to advancing technical education and vocational training in Egypt while preparing youth with the required skills to boost their competitiveness in local and global markets.

The academy will offer specialized programs across four key fields: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical maintenance, electrical installations in buildings, and mechanical operations and maintenance.

Upon completing the three-year program, students will receive a German-accredited certificate, in addition to the opportunity to study English and German in line with international standards.

These programs are designed to strengthen students’ technical and language skills, preparing graduates for greater employment opportunities in both the local and international labor markets.

Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of Elsewedy Electric Foundation, said: "Through this strategic alliance, we are keen to transfer expertise and prepare a new generation of highly skilled technicians in line with the highest standards.”

He added: “Our goal is to graduate talent with the capabilities and competitiveness required by the global market, enabling them to immediately integrate into local and international labor markets and contribute to shaping the future of Egyptian industry in line with Egypt's Vision 2030."

For his part, Ayman Korra, President and CEO of Korra Energi, commented: "We believe that Egyptian youth possess exceptional talent and capabilities, and that providing them with a modern educational and training environment is an essential step toward enabling them to compete locally, regionally, and internationally. Through the Elsewedy & KORRA German Technical Academy, we aim to offer an integrated model of technical education and training that brings together theoretical knowledge and hands-on learning.

Meanwhile, Hanan Elrihany, CEO of Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA), elaborated: "Our educational model emphasizes 80% hands-on learning across four key fields: HVAC, Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Installations in Buildings, and Mechanical Operations & Maintenance.
