Fertilizers, building materials jump on October 12

Arab Finance: Prices for fertilizers and building materials increased on Monday, October 12, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

A ton of ammonium sulfate climbed by 7.8% to EGP 20,307, while the price of ammonium nitrate went up by 1.4% to EGP 24,136 per ton.

Urea was priced at EGP 24,742 per ton, with a daily increase of 1.9%.

As for the building materials, the price of grey cement reached EGP 4,128 per ton, rising 3.5% daily.

Investment-grade steel amounted to EGP 38,456 per ton, with a daily growth of 0.9%. Ezz Steel amounted to EGP 39,945 per ton.
