Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables in Egyptian markets varied on Monday, October 12, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Packaged rice stood at EGP 34.8, reflecting a daily growth of 4.4%.
Flour was priced at nearly EGP 25.9 per kilogram, falling by 2.6% on a daily basis.
Sugar amounted to EGP 33.4 per kilogram, up 3.8%. Similarly, pasta rose by 0.9% to EGP 33 per kilogram.
Sunflower oil was priced at EGP 102.1, down 1.8% daily.
Regarding vegetables, the price of tomatoes stood at EGP 21.9 per kilogram, reflecting a slight daily decline of 0.1%.
A kilogram of onions reached EGP 18.3 per kilogram, marking a daily rise of 0.1%.
