FRA moves to revoke two Tycoon Holding licenses

Arab Finance: The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) has initiated procedures to revoke two licenses held by Tycoon Holding Company, previously known as Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment, after the company failed to address regulatory violations within a one-month deadline, as per a disclosure.

The licenses cover the promotion and underwriting of securities and the establishment of companies issuing securities or participation in their capital increases.

The grace period expired on August 6, 2026. During that time, the FRA monitored the company’s status and completed the necessary examination to determine whether it was conducting either licensed activity.

The review found that Tycoon Holding had not carried out any transactions or generated revenue from either business. Its operations during the period were limited to forming and managing securities portfolios for its own account.

The FRA said the company’s failure to rectify the violations before the deadline left no factual or regulatory basis for the two licenses to remain in effect.

The decision does not affect Tycoon Holding’s portfolio management license, which remains valid. The company can continue conducting the activity under the applicable laws and regulations and will remain subject to the FRA’s oversight.

Tycoon Holding was established in 2009 and is one of the companies operating in the investment and financial services sector in the Egyptian market.

The company offers a diverse range of investment solutions and financial services, including company formation, portfolio management, and financial advisory services, catering to the needs of both individual and institutional clients.

Through its activities, Tycoon Holding supports growth and investment across various sectors of the economy.
