Arab Finance: Gold prices hiked significantly on Sunday as investors moved into safe-haven assets following the US-Israel strikes on Iranian targets.
The international ounce recorded $5,279.3 for buying and $5,277.7 for selling, as per Dahab Misr’s data.
By 10:36 am, the 24-karat gold price hit a new record, standing at EGP 8,600.28 for purchasing and EGP 8,467.72 for selling.
Meanwhile, the 21-karat price jumped to EGP 7,526 for buying and EGP 7,410 for selling.
