Arab Finance: Gourmet Egypt's consolidated net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of 2026 rose 46.1% year on year (YoY) to EGP 139.446 million from EGP 95.463 million in the same period of 2025, according to its financial indicators.
The food retailer and manufacturer posted a 27% YoY increase in sales during the six months ended June 30, reaching EGP 1.687 billion, up from EGP 1.328 billion a year earlier.
On a standalone basis, the company’s net profits climbed 60.4% YoY to EGP 124.800 million in H1 2026, compared to EGP 77.819 million in the corresponding period of 2025.
Standalone revenues also rose 30% YoY to EGP 1.599 billion, from EGP 1.230 billion a year earlier.
On February 10th, the company made its debut on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) after completing a combined public and private offering of 190.5 million shares.
Also, Gorumet Egypt aims to grow its business and reach annual sales of nearly EGP 9 billion by 2030, compared to standalone revenues of EGP 2.7 billion achieved in 2025
