Arab Finance: Korra Energi has secured a contract to execute civil, architectural, and electromechanical works for GennVax Egypt, a vaccine manufacturing plant at the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) in Ain Sokhna, as per a disclosure.
The value of Korra's scope of work under the contract amounts to EGP 470.713 million.
The scope of work includes six buildings: production building, storage building, wastewater building, solid waste building, interconnecting building, administrative building, and fence.
The agreement also includes the option to assign additional works worth EGP 100 million to Korra, subject to GennVax Egypt's request.
Korra was recently awarded one of the largest electricity transmission projects currently underway in Egypt, through its alliance with High Dam Electrical & Industrial Projects Co (HIDELECO), with total investment ranging from EGP 12 to EGP 14 billion.
It is noteworthy that the company also delivered a strong financial performance in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, reflecting its operational efficiency and its ability to achieve sustainable added value.
