LemFi launches new global brand platform targeting cross-border customers

Arab Finance: LemFi, the financial platform for people building lives across borders, has launched its new global brand platform, Ambition has no passport, according to an emailed press release.

LemFi serves more than two million customers who transfer money to over 30 countries, processing more than $2 billion in monthly transaction volume across Africa, Asia, Europe, and other regions.

Meanwhile, around 304 million people live outside their nations, sending around $905 billion home annually. Hence, LemFi seeks to address the needs of customers whose financial lives span multiple countries, including those who support families at home while pursuing careers and business opportunities abroad.

The company’s new offerings include savings and credit services initially available in the UK, with plans to expand into other markets. This is in addition to eSIM services that allow customers to access mobile data in more than 100 destinations without changing SIM cards or incurring traditional roaming charges.

Ridwan Olalere, Co-Founder and CEO of LemFi, commented: “Our customers are building careers and businesses in one country while supporting people in another, and the financial system treats them as if they can only exist in one place at a time. That is the wrong answer for people this ambitious, so we have rebuilt LemFi to work the way their lives do. Ambition travels. The infrastructure behind it should travel too.”

Isabel Ron-Pedrique, VP of Design and Brand at LemFi, said: “Ambition has no passport is not a line we placed on top of the product. It is the idea the whole system is built from, from the app you open in the morning to the poster you walk past on the way to work. We have built this brand to keep up with them.”
