Arab Finance: Egypt-based education financing platform Lime Consumer Finance has signed a strategic partnership with Egypt-based education technology and services provider Vertex Learning Solutions to offer installment payment options across Vertex’s education and training programs, as per an emailed press release.
Lime works with a network of 600 educational institutions nationwide. The company provides financing designed to help individuals cover the cost of academic studies, professional training, and other learning opportunities.
The agreement will allow students, educators, and professionals to finance fees for teacher training, professional development, study-abroad services, and curriculum development through Lime’s digital installment plans.
The partnership extends Lime’s financing services beyond conventional tuition payments to continuing education and skills development.
“Our collaboration with Vertex reflects our commitment to supporting sectors that create lasting social and economic impact, while leveraging financial technology to make learning and skills development more accessible. With financial inclusion in Egypt reaching 79% by the end of June 2026, we remain committed to providing flexible digital financing solutions that help individuals invest in their future, develop the skills needed for an evolving job market, and achieve their aspirations,” Lime CEO and Managing Director Ahmed Mohsen said.
Vertex Founder and CEO Rehab El Samny said the financing options would enable the company to serve a broader group of learners. “We believe that offering more flexible payment options can help students, educators, and professionals take advantage of the learning and development opportunities they need. This partnership aligns with our mission of delivering innovative educational solutions through strategic partnerships, and we look forward to expanding this collaboration to reach even more learners across Egypt,” El Samny noted.
