ِArab Finance: Egyptian digital fleet payment solutions provider Octane has received the Entrepreneurs Award among Egypt's Top 100 Companies at the 11th Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony, "Egypt for the Best Summit 2026," in recognition of its technology-driven contributions to fleet management, as per an emailed press release.

The award recognizes Octane's development of Egypt's first and largest fully integrated digital fleet payments ecosystem, covering fuel, maintenance, toll, and weighing expenses for commercial fleets.

Octane's platform uses artificial intelligence (AI), optical character recognition (OCR), and near-field communication (NFC) authentication technologies to complete fuel transactions in less than one minute while reducing fraud risks.

The system also provides businesses with real-time monitoring and control of fleet-related transactions.

It serves more than 3,000 corporate customers and manages over 300,000 vehicles. Since its launch, Octane has processed more than 15 million digital fuel transactions and over 250,000 electronic toll transactions.

The company's solutions have helped customers reduce fleet operating costs by between 35% and 40%.

Octane Co-Founder and CEO Amr Gamal received the award from Bassel Rahmy, CEO of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), during a ceremony attended by ministers, government officials, and business executives.

"We are proud to receive the Entrepreneurs Award among Egypt's Top 100 Companies, which recognizes a journey built from the outset on redefining fleet management in Egypt through technology and innovation," Gamal said.

He added that the recognition would encourage the company to continue investing in digital solutions for the transportation and logistics sectors while expanding its digital ecosystem.

The Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony, launched in 2016 and held annually under the patronage of Egypt's prime minister, recognizes leading companies and achievements across economic and social sectors. The event brings together government officials and business leaders to highlight contributions to the country's economic development.
